Job Description:
1. Work according to the process and quality guidelines
2. Work as DBA to support and Maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases on Unix and Windows OS
3. Monitor database efficiency
4. Monitor daily logs, report and fix the issues
5. Sustaining the security and integrity of data
6. Participate in database related project or engagement work
7. Assisting in database design and updating and amending existing databases
8. Setting up and testing new database and data handling system
9. Automate the server monitoring process using approved technologies
Candidate Profile:
Qualifications:
1. Eye for detail and accuracy
2. Understanding of System Life Cycle Development (SDLC) is required.
3. Around 3-4 years of experience Oracle and SQL Servers DBA role.
4. Minimum 3-4 years of experience with Unix and Windows servers
5. Minimum 2 year of experience in Linux Shell Scripting
6. Good knowledge of PuTTY
7. Knowledge of 'Relational database management systems' (RDBMS), 'object oriented database management systems' (OODBMS) and XML database management systems
8. Experience with their database software/web applications
