Job Responsibilities:

Work closely with Lead Developers, Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts and others in developing a testing strategy.
Monitor the completion of tasks within time and cost constraints and ensure that technical and functional objectives are met.
Interface with senior management to report on project and program milestones.
Assist with leading the design, development and implementation of test strategies and tools.
Identify Test Environment requirements.
Participate as a dedicated member of a fast paced QA team, helping to identify and define testing plans for multiple projects.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage exists by understanding the scope and technology of the application.
Work closely with the team, participating in solution design and ensuring testability of functions and applications.
Identify areas for improving efficiency, shortening of test cycles, and automation of test scripts and recommend solutions for improvement.
Facilitate execution of automated test scripts, specifically within the automated build environment.
Interact with internal and external customers both onsite and remotely.
Performs root cause analysis to identify and recommend test scope and test approach improvements.
Possess thorough technical and operational knowledge within the QA area of responsibility.
Present and/or escalate project and technical needs.
Coordinate activities with overall development team.
Ensure execution of the testing problem management process; specifically, monitoring and reporting on problem resolution.
Assist with the selection, development and retention of proactive, technically strong service-oriented staff.
Responsible for defect management including monitoring and reporting on defect resolution.
Create test cases and test scripts using detailed business requirements, functional documents, and processes.
Assist Application Developers and technical support staff in identifying and resolving defects.
Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design
