You will....
- Work closely with the Technology Lead and convert design and directions into code very efficiently
- Develop components for real time, scalable systems that handle high volumes of complex data
- Work on complex algorithms for number crunching
- Perform testing of the modules that are developed to ensure overall quality.
- Desired Skills & Experience
- Excellent Problem solving skills and Programming skills
Hands on and well versed on
- Data structures and patterns that can be used in Big Data / Real time data situations
- Open source stack and tools that address Big Data / Real time data situation like Hadoop, MapReduce, Storm, HBase, Pig & Hive.
- Open Source SDLC tools (Development, Test, Build and
- SCM)
- Coding (Excellent core java skills and a bit of scripting skills like Python, PHP ..
- OO Principles
- Data Visualization techniques
- Prior experience in (Enterprise Class) product development will be a big plus.
- Prior exposure to Machine Learning and Number crunching Algorithms will be a big plus
- Prior experience in analysing large volumes of data Log Analysis and Recommendation systems will be an advantage
- About 0 - 2 years of relevant experience
